The National Strategic Review Center (PPSN) with TNI retired generals today, Thursday (27/8) held a public discussion related to the National Security Bill (RUU). Reportedly the bill goes into the National Legislation Program (Prolegnas).

Tekait discussion until the review and the proposed formation of Kamnas Bill has been going on for a decade. But until now there has been no indication that the bill will be realized Kamnas.

In his speech, Rear Admiral Widodo AS, who is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of PPSN, said that the long process of finalizing the Draft Law has actually been done by the government.

In the process, Widodo added that the public or the public are involved in improving the draft law of Kamnas until the discussion.

“One of the public spaces is to hold brainstorming discussions that we hold today, hoping to accommodate all inputs from the public,” he said during a discussion on Thursday (27/8).

Widodo wants, in the process people can contribute to the review of the bill.

He added, actually in this forum can produce a clear view. So that was born a good draft regulation input and really useful for society and country.

“PPSN is part of the public facilitating through this discussion forum to gather and explore ideas from various societies, hopefully providing effectiveness in the National Security Bill,” he continued.

“I underline this (discussion) is a public space, we hope to give a clear view, quoting Mr. Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, this is a forum to think together,” he concluded.
